Using MSCONFIG (Win 98, ME & XP only)
or SYSEDIT (Win95 or 98 only)

Click to close this browser window
and return to the previous page.

Click Start | Run (or, on an expanded feature keyboard, type Win+R).

Type MSCONFIG or SYSEDIT (whichever you intend to use). Click OK.

NOTE: The utility SYSEDIT does not come as part of Windows Millennium Edition.
In Windows ME, you can copy this utility from an earlier version of Windows
(this is technically possible, but may be in violation of your end-user license agreement),
or use Notepad to edit the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files, and MSCONFIG
to modify the SYSTEM.INI and WIN.INI files.
