Adam Eshleman

It is only by reconstruction that I have Adam listed as John and Barbara's son. On the above record, we find, "John Eshelman, age 59, and Barbara, 53, were residents of Henry Twp, Fulton Co Ind, in Census, 1880. Their household included Adam, age 14 years." Later, we find the tombstone of Adam Eshelman and his apparent wife Ella May, listing his life as 1865-1915.

"ESHELMAN
(1) Ella May, 1872-1945
(2) Adam, 1865-1915"

Middle initial may have been J. In one place, Alvin's mother is listed as "Mrs. A.J. Eshelman."

Reference on his two marriages: http://www.fulco.lib.in.us/genealogy/Tombaugh/Marriages/pdf/e.pdf

A census record seems to identify him as 1866, but the tombstone says 1866.
